Hence I indicated that the latter Asian legs have to be transits without stopovers which is doable because the OP has no specific need to stopover anywhere in Asia. Surely that fits with the rules - I don't see anything that limits the number of transits without stopovers between Europe and SWP for the 2nd intercon entry/exit into/out of Asia, unless there is a reason for the lack of plurality in the star file ('transit' not 'transits').
While the rules do not mention multiple transits, the reason the rule exists is to allow people to get between Europe and SWP. So you may still have problems convincing an airline to actually ticket multiple transits without stopover, and may also run into problems if you need to re-issue the ticket later. I would recommended making the Asia trips between SWP and NA and avoid the ambiguity of interpretation.

Ahh - I have somethings similar booked - but going the other way - :

syd-hkg-fra-hel-lhr-dxb-lhr,lgw-bgi-jfk-dfw-lax-jfk-nrt-hkgsyd-adl-per-syd

and

syd-nrt-hkg-sin-nrt-dfw-lax-jfk-bgi-lgw-pfo,lca-lhr-hkg-syd-mel-syd

In trip I see your point that the extra transits without stopovers are on the way from the US and trip two they are essentially my asia flights as part of the normal trip.

Apologies for the misrepresentation

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Try the following:
mel-syd-jfk-ord-lax-jfk-bgi-lgw,lhr-amm-fco-hel-fra-nrt-del-nrt-dps-nrt-mel-per-cbr-mel

Book MEL-SYD with an AA code, and SYD-JFK as AA7365 instead of QF107 and you'll achieve the AA Platinum challenge with SYD-JFK, thereby earning the 100% miles bonus from that flight (except the JL ones but you get nothing on CX in L anyway), and oneworld sapphire status after syd-jfk. You need to 'refresh' ur status with all the airlines so that your new sapphire status shows up.

You can take a little breather after returning to mel and use the rest of the SWP segments for a short weekend trip to WA.

Unfortunately some routes are non daily, such as amm-fco and nrt-mel so you might want to plan around those carefully.

I recommend making as many as possible of the ling-haul flights west-bound and select daytime flights. It makes for a much more enjoyable journey.
