Hi Experts. Hoping an experienced Asia flyer can help here. Next year we plan Business class RTW trip, but what would be the best FF programme to credit the points to? We are currently in ANA and have points there. Also in Korean Air with points there. Also just joined Asiana but no points yet.
If we choose ANA then fine, book a Star Alliance RTW trip with them. Thought of Asiana and again a Star Alliance RTW trip. If I went with Asiana programme I’d have the option of transferring points and status to Korean Air after merger is finalised.
We’d want to use our points for Business Class returns from Australia to Japan or South Korea in 2027 or 2028.
Big question! Which airline would be easiest to find two BC returns from Australia. Please tell me they can’t be as hellishly hard as Qantas 😆. Any tips or suggestions hugely appreciated. Thanks a lot. Philip

For Japan they are hellishly hard as Qantas unless you try right on the day they're released.

In all honesty, Krisflyer (Singapore Airlines), Aeroplan (Air Canada), United and Turkish are probably the better picks for Star Alliance. Each with different pros and cons. I find ANA's loyalty to be a bit eh overall. and there hasn't been much signs yet that they reserve seats for their own members so partners have access to most of their inventory. Plus you can't directly search ANA's inventory with 3rd party sites to keep tab on alerts.

Not too much for Sky Team - Delta / Flying Blue are probably the best option as a loyalty program.

One World - possibly Cathay with Asia Miles might be better if you don't want to use Qantas or AA if points spend is all you care about.
