Hi - a question to the forums administrators I suppose.

I Use a little desktop tool called Klipfolio which is fantastic for keeping track of RSS feeds (amongst other things) without requiring a full internet page setup. Looks a little like this:

I know other forum software have the ability to produce RSS feeds of the latest postings, including titles, subject lines and even the full post itself.

Any intention of providing an RSS feed of this forum?

This is something we have been meaning to do for some time! Thanks for the reminder. Will look at doing something in the next few weeks.

Ummmm, I have an RSS feed for the site on my Yahoo7 homepage....

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

When using FireFox with AFF, the
feed-icon.png
icon appears at the end of the URL.

Do a "mouse-over" on it and you get the 'tool-tip' "Subscribe to this Page".

Click it and you go to the page linked to by oz_mark.

IE7 also recognises the RSS feed, but can't deal with the DTD in the document.

Ok so the RSS feeds from this site, only work with new posts, not replies to existing topics. Is that what the administrators mean?

The external RSS provider here appears to be the bog standard vBulletin provider. There are a few options:

type=RSS (gives you an RSS0.91 feed)
type=RSS1 (gives you an RSS1.0 feed)
type=RSS2 (gives you an RSS2.0 feed)

By default, threads will be returned in reverse order of their creation date. If you put &lastpost=1 on the end of the URL, they will be returned in descending order of the last post.

Ok I'll give that a go.
