Rockpool Bar and Grill Lunch with QFF confirmed attendees

Did anyone who attended the lunch happen to ask QF why PE earns SCs at the same rate as Y? Given that Y- earns at Y-50% and J at Y+100%, it would seem logical that PE should earn at Y+50%. I've never tried PE before but I recently booked a well-priced PE special SYD-SCL-SYD for a little Patagonia and Antarctic exploration in November-December (although I'm hoping the upgrades come through ;)).

That would be because PE is only on international flights and Y is basically unbookable. So PE earning at 100% is a step up from the economy cabin.

I am not sure that is entirely accuate. I have booked full Y on international QF flights a number of times. Nice way to get cheaper points upgrades to J on the 333's

I said basically unbookable. Y is not available (for international flights) via the website only from TAs and [-]travel agents[/-] government/business contract. As such I stand by my post. "Basically unbookable"

A few usual suspects seen there:p...

Yep, a few shots of my ugly mug thrown in there. Along with a few more shots not of my face, but I could probably add them to my portfolio if anyone is considering hiring someone who wants to model using a digital camera.

thewinchester has a pretty good hug looking at the video. :)

not unexpectedly, only +ve aspects of the QFF program shown

You were expecting? :) Mind, it could've easily been said as strategic, but pretty much all the questions that were asked of us for media were very much biased to "positive" or at least diplomatic answers (you would've had to have been downright cynically predisposed in order to answer them "negatively"). At least no one said they really blew their points on anything except flights... well, one smug mug said he blew points on a coffee machine......
