Rockfords discussion

Does anyone have a PDF of the latest order form? I seem to have misplaced my hard copy ( and I'm not wanting to order via the website)

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I just call them up and order on the phone after looking at the list to see what is available and current pricing etc
I'll probably do that if I cant locate my form (the joys of moving house and not sorting out all the stray paperwork).

That would be great, thank you!
Any time - as above I have never used them - initially it didn't click as to what you were after.

I guess I make most of my orders with the release of Black Shiraz in about Dec and BP in March - as they aren't on the form I have always need to call anyway

They've given me the ok to order some black shiraz via email which is very nice of them.

This release - '18 Disgorged - copped an extreemly poor review from the wine front - I bought mine after seeing the review.

I feel confident that if they are as undrinkable as the wine front indicate, Rockford will replace them with the current disgorge that's available. I also think there is a high chance that the reviewed bottle was faulty - but as a fan of the winery I am biased..... I have only just finished my '15s, so it will be another 2-3 years before I find out what mine are like

Interesting, I hadn't heard that. It doesn't sound like Rockford to sell a bad wine so hopefully they just got a bad one.

We've got a '17 stashed away, and drank a '14 back in 2017 which was divine.

I had a wine tasting with one of the WF reviewers the day he and one of the other WF contributors had been through the Rockford lineup. He explained they all really like Rockford and they were hoping and looking for so much better. I recall he mentioned the wines were brett affected. Not everybody is sensitive to brett in wine. So if that last release is largely affected, then hopefully not everyone will notice. For me, I know I am highly sensitive to brett. So I am waiting out this release and will wait to see how the next release is recieved. Let's hope the WF samples were just bad bottles and those that ordered enjoy their wines when they do open them.

Is that saying every wine is affected, or just the BS?

Well I tasted this one at cellar door and it was only then I bought, so I'm clearly not sensitive to brett. And I was with a couple who are, they did in fact notice it in another wine (Rodd & Spur).
