RewardPay Alternatives

Thanks for the reply! I'll ask here but not the bank ha.

On point 3, I'm not concerned about the YP-side. More concerned about Citi-side. Its pretty easy for them to recognise that YP, EBP etc are all B2B payment platforms...

Which personal cards do you use with YP, EBP, RP?
Dragon mostly. Only using YP now as others have increased their fees.

LOL!
I'm obviously too thick to get it - so where do the Rewards points come from in your system?
by paying everything by credit card

My cash flow is good enough that every bill is paid within 14 days.
EBP is a product designed for people who cant figure out how to do a simple budget unless they have an app for it.
It would seem you are ok, if not, then your butler does it for you. Doubt you need an app

You do realise that people are using EBP or YP to pay accounts from suppliers who don't accept credit card payments factoring the 1.3% as the cost of the points?
I do, but i wasnt talking about them.

I also have a supplier who charges 2.4% credit card surcharge on all cards (he must be using Square) but nil for BSB/account number. 1.3% is better than 2.4% and is just at the upper limit of making the process worthwhile for me.

YMMV.

Just piping in to say that YP is actually 1.1% inc. GST or 1% exc. GST and hence just that little bit cheaper but for those who process large amounts it adds up!

With Amex offering double points until 20 July, it seems like B2B / RP / Ferni's option are now pretty attractive when combined with a Charge Card.

@ferni were you able to get your platform up and running again?

Does anyone know of any alternatives to the above which may be more economical? Feel free to PM if you prefer.

Yeh, I'd say so! Payment logic is another one I've heard of, but haven't checked its rates in a while - at least, AMEX's announcement gives us something to think about from a points perspective in these challenging times! (I'd given up paying for points in the current environment, without knowing what points might be worth when travel resumes)

Bluechain at 1.95% + GST is probably the best option at present

Unfortunately not. Pretty sure the fast americans were the ones who made my merchant shut me down. :(

Are there any providers that can accept Amex for government payments without an ABN? Tempted to take advantage of the double points promo but I don't have an ABN.

Edit: I found sniip, 2.2% for Amex card. Has anyone tried this?

Snip says they won't take Amex if the merchant won't take it, so I didn't see the point in using them
