Restaurant program has returned!

Tell me it's Japanese :D
It was a pizza place (and, quite possibly, the best pizza crust i've ever had). It was a special offer they had, and it's not running anymore.

As I don't go out for dinner often (dinner for one at a restaurant doesn't sit well with me), I haven't looked much. Also, most people I go out with have dietary requirements that don't fit in well with raw fish or meat.

I have been using this ALOT :)

May points have just come through today, it keeps expanding which is great and I do love making bookings for groups :)

My first booking under the new system has credited without intervention, which is pleasing. Only 200 points, but every little helps as Tesco says!

I've been using this as well, massive improvement from the old system. Points take a while but they all have arrived. Nice little side earner!

If it is an addition to the program that 'just works', and it appears it does, then it will be a good thing. I tire of things you have to chase up. But looks like this one is ok.

I have been booking the 50% off specials and trying new places.
We like eating out and I can't turn down a new place (of interest, I don't book a place if there is nothing on the menu we like…. maybe I should and just get a small thing) for half price.
Some will go into our rotation, others were good for the 50% off price but at full price the food wasn't good enough.
I have made group bookings and bookings just for the 2 of us. I have had people not show up (which reduces my earn) and extra people attend (again, I don't get points for them sigh). But so far I have had about 3000 points credit for something we do anyway and it encourages us to be more social with the limited family we have in Sydney - so that I get points for dining with them.
I think this one works great. I don't think I ever tried the old system, but no problems with this new one.

The program has been working well for me, though points are a bit slow to credit.

Just a reminder, and a possible trap for young players, is to make sure you make the restaurant booking using your first and last name as they appear in your QFF account. The T&Cs do state this, though I forgot and used an abbreviation of my given name for one restaurant booking, and it never credited. Thankfully it was only a twosome, that time!

Cheers.

Great tip there dairyfloss. I have never used the program but will certainly check out what is available in ADL.

I've used it a few times, quite handy for some easy points, especially when it's a restaurant you would go to anyway.

Have used it a few times and they generally seem to post without intervention. I think one failed but I didn't bother chasing it up as it was only 200 pts.

I value the convenience of the online booking and if some points happen to post as well then happy days.

Am going to be in Melbourne for one night later this week. Can anyone recommend a restaurant in or near Southbank?

On the QF program so you can earn points?

A nice one in the city is +39 Pizzeria that does great Italian food.

Southbank is a bit of a tourist trap + Crown Casino.

I'd pretty much ignored this.
But I just noticed that a cafe down the road is listed. Now I need to work out if a coffee each would qualify =)

Just happened to make some bookings before the email came through this morning. Nice little points bonus.
