Booked plenty and have cancelled plenty, they’re fully refundableJust revisiting this as need to book a business domestic flight for Mrs SS. Are these still fully refundable?
To the statement 'if you cancel for a refund' in the table there is a green tick but also an asterisk;
*No fees apply where you are entitled to a refund or alternative flight under the Australian Consumer Law, equivalent local law or Conditions of Carriage.
That sounds like an each way bet to me. Can anyone clarify?
Theoretically yes - but that seems pretty pointless...I’ve got a Westpac Black CC. To be eligible for the complimentary lounge passes you now need to purchase a Qantas flight. Could I buy a business fare, get the passes, then cancel the flight? Would they remove the passes?

They are including the cheap J $299 sale fares as I’ve had to cancel one of themI did look into this quite recently - wasn't aware that the business was fully refundable. My understanding was there was a ~$50 fee to process a full refund.
I instead was looking at the 'Cancel for any reason' policy to make use of some otherwise pointless lounge vouchers - main caveat being you need to plan for it 30 days out..
How is it pointless when you get two free lounge passes? I already have a QF booked which I paid for with a previous credit card, so I'd want to use the lounge passes for that flight.Theoretically yes - but that seems pretty pointless...
What do you mean by plan it 30 days out? My plan is to book a business ticket for a few months time. Within 14 days of meeting the criteria, the lounge passes are issued. Once issued, I'll cancel the flight.I did look into this quite recently - wasn't aware that the business was fully refundable. My understanding was there was a ~$50 fee to process a full refund.
