Will investigate the option of leaving my bags at airport for collection tmw when I land

You can grab a baggage trolly on arrival and wheel you bags to the CP (even take the trolley, bags and all, on the inter-terminal trains).

They even have a place near reception to park your trolly on arrival (and grab one when leaving).
