Ok I have just started cooking my Jangles and was shortchanged. There were only 14 in the box!

Will see how they taste very soon.

Meh, just spicy meatballs. Nothing special, won't bother with them again.

The cat liked her little bit.

I cannot believe its been commissioned for a second round, hardly a ratings winner, must have been good for WOW.

I hope they learnt something from the first season... And I look forward to restocking my freezer with quick meals soon! :)

I dont shop at Woolies a great deal but today was the first time I'd seen last year's winner on display. Bought them for MrP. He's a sweet tooth.

The Chocorn went on sale for the first time since the show today. A small price increase too, last year's $7.99 has become $8.59 a box.

edit: they were $8.59 online but in-store they are still $7.99.

Hopefully the next series has something that can be toasted, have to use the growing collection of toasters someday.

They were awful, I remember taking them to a neighbours place and leaving them :p
I have no idea how it won. They were tracking sales for the Wed-Fri after that products ep aired, but each winning line got a different amount of stock sent out. We could have been sent 50 eaches of one thing and sell out, then get 70 of the next and sell 51. Why should the 2nd win because it sold more when the 1st could have sold much more and only didn't because they didn't send enough to the store?

Last season, everything was allocated out to stores to arrive on the Tuesday that ep aired on. The boxes (and ticketing/data in the system) on said the theme of that week. No one (is meant to - the POS arrived in store 3 weeks ahead...) knew who had won until the stock was placed on show on the wednesday morning.
It was re-ranged as a new line over easter. There are apparently other flavors in the works.
