I can report back now. It took me about 5 minutes to get from arrival gate to international transfer area and about 8 minutes to get through security. The line at security wasn't particularly long but only one scanner was in use and several bags were getting sent off to secondary screening (including mine). Nothing to see after a quick check by the friendly customs staff and I was on my way with enough time to not get stressed about making the next flight.
