I’d save the time watching the video.

Summary… MU availability may be phantom. Even though they’re a member of skyteam they don’t have to provide award seats, and can’t be forced to.

Not that I can see, for the random dates I've searched for.

Certainly nothing on MU between MEL and PVG, other than CX or CI.

That is indeed odd, I'll be looking keenly for some MU business reward seats then

(I usually only look at the multi-city portal).

Usually there's pretty good availability as it seems not really many people want to either transit via, or visit China.

Seems it's only economy reward seats that's available, sadly.

Its an AI content farm channel; the visuals are all genAI, the script is also generated (can tell by giveaways such as "the uncomfortable truth" and "its not x, its y", and even the narrator VoiceOver is AI generated.
