I was thinking of those staying for more than one dinner rather than in place of euro, mind you Euro is getting very average reviews at present on TA.

Our hotel is now booked - Hilton Princes Wharf.

Decided to use my Hilton voucher for a free weekend night. Represents good value IMHO as the room cost (King Hilton Guestroom) is AU$1109.00 for the Saturday night! :mrgreen:

As I will move from Gold to Diamond before then, I wonder if I will still get an upgrade to King Deluxe Harbour View? :p

You are a wicked lot you AFFers...... the things you have taught me ;)

I realise I have, up until now, omitted to list my flight details which are as follows:

07 MAR QF8762 (EK406) from MEL arriving at 1.45pm

And return flights are

08 MAR QF112 to PER, departing at 10.50am
08 MAR QF768 to MEL, departing at 4.45pm.

I expect the above to stick, however may route via SYD or BNE to get home significantly earlier.

Should be kipping at Hilton Auckland.

+1 and I were going to stay at Hotel Grand Chancellor (which I now need to cancel) found on the Qantas site. Don't know anything about this place other than it was affordable. It was only for a one night stay.
Shame you're not joining a few of us on the EK flight.
