Does anyone know what standard of inflight service is offered on flights where ATR, f100 and 737/ erj operate the same route? I know ATR provide snack etc, but it seems rocky is now a mixed bag and operates various ac If you get full service on ATR/ f100 might as well pick those over 737 flights. Anyone know if they provide same service across the route?

F100 routes are standard service as per 737/E190 routes. The seats are quite comfortable with good legroom (32").

Thanks for the replies. Looks like a couple of my bookings are 737s and others are ATR.

Hopefully they'll move to a standard product sometime in the near future. It makes it very confusing for PAX (especially those who aren't like us and do no research) when their flights will have different service depending on which planes operating it or where it's going.

Virgin now have:

- "No Service" mainline flights (tea/coffee/water only)
- "Full Service" Canberra flights (as per Qantas service including drinks in the evening)
- "Full Service" Regional Flights on the ATR (PMQ, GLT, EMD, ROK)

What makes it more confusing is ports like ROK that have both "No Service" and "Full Service" (ATR) depending on which flight the passenger books. I dare say 90% of people don't look at the type operating their flight so it gets a bit confusing if they fly down on the 737 and get nothing, but come back on the ATR and end up receiving full service.

You forgot the full service (well snack) on the WA regionals as well. I'm not sure full service is an apt description fo the ATR snack and I'm not sure if grog is offered at all (the only ATR I've been on was 7am and despite the ATR making me wish I was drunk, I can't come at a beer for breakfast).......

I not only look at AC type, but now actively plan to be on anything but an ATR. Saturday before last BNE-ROK 80 minutes of tedium aboard the turbo-proped greyhound bus. Yesterday, BNE-ROK 50 minutes of comparitive luxury of an E-Jet. Loved it and loved the complementary coffee too! Back home on a 700 which until the ATR, I would have whinged about......now it's pure bliss! See, the ATR does have a purpose. To make us realise how lucky we had it!

Thanks, didn't realise they were offering service on the WA routes.

They do offer a bar service (well beer anyway, and wine I'd assume) so the ATR's are pretty similar to what Qantas/QantasLink offer.

Haven't had a spin on the ATR yet... but I have noticed they block 30 minutes longer on a ROK sector

If by bar service you mean a complimentary drink, then it is only similar to Qantas on Cityflyer routes. Get out of the Cityflyer routes on Qantas and you're back to paying for drinks.
