Anytime we have travelled First out of Australia over the last x number of years we have been phoned by the First Host the day before - mainly to book the spa, but they always ask if there is anything we need assistance with. No Spa this time as it is an evening flight, but kept my phone next to me today but no phone call. We are flying out of Australia on Emirates metal, but Qantas code share - booked on Qantas site, money paid to Qantas. Don't really need a phonecall, but wondered why one didn't happen. I came up with a few reasons
- they don't bother because it is Emirates metal
- It is a Sunday and they don't work on Sundays
- No spa so don't bother with a phonecall
I am sure the experienced flyers on here know the answer - perhaps you can enlighten me.
