We have a number of Qantas international flights booked for August through October, all made under the recent double status credit deal. Qantas is now offering rain checks but says nothing about peripheral contractual conditions of the fares. Similarly, if it is impossible to use a rain check will the bonus be transferred to all new arrangements?
Does anyone know whether this has been addressed somewhere?

Presumably if the new flights are within the double SC flying dates, they will still apply, but you would need to ask Qantas to be sure.

Tried calling, 8 hour wait time 🙄
I have booked a business class status run to Auckland in April, this will get me to platinum, however, on return from London to Melb QF2 yesterday, first class, via Singapore, our Qantas connection, QF36 was cancelled without notice. Qantas ground staff managed to find 2 business class seats on Singapore airlines to Melbourne. No status credits for this sector, which means my status run is useless even if not cancelled by Qantas I won't make the required number. Should Qantas issue status credits for the singapore leg, in this instance?

For the cancelled QF36, as this was an unscheduled change you should email [email protected] asking for ORC (original routing credit) for that leg. Be prepared to wait a while for a response at this time.

As @Beano stated if you redeem your credit voucher with the same booking reference for travel within the stated promotional period then you should get DSCs.
