I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this thread, but the frequentflyer home page has the following header:

We are Australia's leading independent Frequent Flyer Resource. Here you can learn how to maximise the value of your Qantas Frequent Flyer points, Virgin Blue Velocity and other airline frequent flyer points.
Discuss the ANZ Credit Card Rewards, Westpac Altitude Rewards, National Australia Bank Rewards, Commonwealth Bank Rewards and American Express Rewards - all of which are linked to the Quantas Frequent Flyer program.

Not that I have't made the odd spelling mistake myself......

Indeed it does and has been discussed previously

It is a deliberate spelling mistake in order to pick up for those using quantas in search engines

So I now see.

I think that it is possible to hide misspelt words like "Quantas" on the homepage by using the same colour font as the background. I do it on my website anyway.

Haven't you... I'm not sure if this was intentional or not:confused:

I believe Google and other search engines are aware of this technique, and view it negatively by penalising its rating of your website where it thinks you have deliberately used the same text colour as the background.

Search engines such as Google are also smart enough to figure out what you mean if you type Quantas. (Of course other search engines such as Live Search are a bit more stupid in this respect)

Not intentional! I even checked my spelling in that post, for obvious reasons.
