Hi all, I'm flying RJ for the first time this month, completing a number of sectors in the Middle East. I'll be transiting AMM a couple of times. Can anyone comment on the quality of the RJ flight experience in either Y or J, and on the quality of the RJ lounges in AMM? Thanks.

In flight experience was great imho. FA's attentive, food / beverage good, seats comfortable enough.
AMM is still in renovation stages I believe however their flagship lounge is wonderful and spacious, wrap around views of the terminal with plenty of seating.

The thing that sticks in my mind most about the AMM lounge was the pool table!

Just did CDG-AMM-BKK r/t in J.

For the price I think the quality was very good. FA's were excellent, and for older angled seats they were actually quite comfortable. Planes I was in were definitely showing their age though.

Lounge was quite pleasant. Lots of space and hardly anyone there when I was in. One thing that surprised me - they charge for shower use!

One thing to keep in mind - had to make claims for all flights as none of them posted, so keep your BPs.

RJ lounge in Amman pretty good. A shower cost me 11 dinars ( abt $15) but I was flying EK, so I don't know if the charge is universal or for non RJ pax. Some pics and commentary on my recent trip report on Dubai and Jordan.

Flew in Y a few years back HKG-AMM, and couldn't really fault them, but nothing extra special either. Arrived in to AMM at about 5am and as I was continuing on to IST about 6 hours later, was given a complimentary hotel room for a few hours, which was great after 12+ hours in Y. One other thing to note was that there was a stop in BKK, and HKG-AMM passengers were not permitted to leave the aircraft (same on return), which made the whY experience rather longer than it needed to be.

My experiences with RJ on a series of flights (MAD-AMM, BCN-AMM, CDG-AMM, DME-AMM) in J on DONEx trips have been great. The hard product is good, seats are comfortable (although not lie flat for these legs), inflight entertainment is pleasant. For me the big plus was the food - they bring a range of foods to you on a table and serve you there - allows you to have a little bit of everything they offer if you want! Food is good, reportedly (from partner) they were good with talking about the wines on offer. I haven't failed to get one of those OWE personal greetings from the CSM when travelling J on RJ - and they were really very lovely.

I've at times also been the only person travelling in J at times, and they're awesomely attentive when this happens.

Overall, I really like them.

I flew with them a few times ex BKK & HKG. Their J product is good and often cheaper then other OW airlines. Comfortable seats on their (usually new) 777's. The food and wine are ok. The service on board is excellent.
The lounge in AMM is very nice with good choice of food and plenty of space to relax before the flight. It's a 'silent' lounge so you must be aware of your boarding time.
