Just following up on this
So as a qf SG I couldn't access the priority boarding.
Went and asked and was told they are only recognizing skywards members.

As I don't have it for qf not a big deal. But WP & SG might be annoyed.
Or is everyone else's experience different for priority boarding on ek with qf status.

My experiences as a QP PS have been a bit hit and miss when travelling on EK. These are some of my experiences so far...

AMS - travelling on QF code. I simply followed all of the EK 'Silver' signs to see what would happen. Used J check-in with no problems. Security at AMS is based on which 'gate block' you are at. I used the priority line EK had for Silver/Gold/Plat/J/F. Agent only checked eligibility after screening and was confused about QF codeshare, but said no worries. Priority boarding was called for J/F and all 'EK AND QF Plat/Gold/Silver

DXB - denied access to EK Silver check-in desk. Directed to general check in queue. I did mention travelling on QF code, but all I got was "Emirates isn't Qantas". No priority boarding due to boarding direct from lounge

CHC - Access to premium check-in desk. Priority boarding offered to 'EK and QF...Plat/Gold/Silver'

So in summary, have received some benefits outside the published list, but denied one that is stated

HKG-DXB is not a route that you have any QF flight numbers on EK metal so you will find anyone flying it with QF status will not get status recognized by EK in any shape or form.

Likewise SYD-PVG doesn't have a EK flight number on it, and if and when I fly Qf129/130 I don't get any recognition as an EK Platinum.

You need to be flying on a flight number that matches your status to get that status recognized.

EK status on QF flight number or QF status on EK flight number will never get any status recognition, just miles earned.

Then why the op ups for HKG-BKK?
