081 is ticket stock from Qantas!
There are two easy way to get to the ticket numb.

It will be printed on your e-ticket .pdf under the "Passenger Ticket Information" area:

Ticket No.
081-2345678901

Or plug your booking reference and surname into classic.checkmytrip.com and check under "e-ticket numbers ".

e.g. "Document 081-234567891"

In both cases the 081- indicates Qantas.

Just rang Qantas about our flight PER-HK ret in June, they said now going PER- SIN-HK the Sin -, I HK sector with CX, I said what will the outcome be as we are in the QP will we get access to the lounge if flying CX, She said of course CX are a one world airlineand you will be able to use the lounge, is this correct?thought we could only use BA and AA!

Yep you can use the CX lounges and they are very good.

You're correct. Qantas Club access won't get you access to the lounge prior to a CX flight. I'd be calling them back and ensuring there's an annotation in your booking granting you access to the QF lounge prior to you SIN-HKG CX flight (assuming, of course, you're flying out during one of the couple of hours in any given day that the QF SIN lounge is actually open).

I understand that Qantas is a business that wants to profit. In which case it's time to review their branding which suggests its an Australian airline for all Australians and that "we" are the reason they fly. Quite simply that's not a true and accurate reflection of their business direction anymore.

Does this announcement give any clues about the allocation of A330's and un-reconfigured 747's?

I would presume there'd be some more capacity for SYD/MEL/BNE-PER as Qantas previously stated the retiming would address the situation where an A330 sits on the tarmac at HKG (or was it SIN) for 22 hours.

To a point... could be very much interpreted as....
Misleading & Misrepresentatation -
& the ole 'bait & switch" foray is evidently now coming into play

I really suggest you try some Turkish delight, I suspect its become more popular overnight in the west ;)

The term "Turkish delight" has several meanings, some of which might not be considered altogether savoury by some of the less broad-minded AFFers.

Not in the context of the quoted post I was referring to re * alliance.

Fan cough***g tastic.

My September PE trip from PER to FRA via SIN (ok so only the SIN-FRA leg was PE) 20 hour trip, is basically no longer available.
Called up, only to be told they'll contact me an a few days to discuss options.

Just work out what you want instead. So if time is only a minor issue for you then you want PE to DXB, and then Y to FRA. Or you want PE to LHR and then onwards.

The way things are going we can probably expect them to be slapped with orange paint and launched on PER-SIN, PER-HKG and ADL-SIN services.

Jetstar Asia is increasing services between Singapore and Perth

I guess the only option that would work for me is PER-SIN-(PE)-LHR-FRA, the emirates / DXB stop over doesn't provide a PE class ex Perth, and she implied that there wasn't a way to transfer to the PE equiv, as my original booking is an award booking.
