QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

Droid denied all flights from Japan to Australia on 21/22 March (all flights had I availability).

Then last night at 2am 1 seat in First was made available on JAL for HND-SYD on the 21st. Will just have to suffer in JAL first lolol

Yep I did, I7 availability on March 21nd. Tried all of QF26,60,62,80,108. All flights denied by the droid three weeks ago and all flights denied by droid a couple days ago.

Have found that the droid is particularly unwilling to say yes on flights to Asia. Have always needed a manual review which wasn’t available this time due to P1 analysts putting a note in the system for March and April that everything will be denied.

Family member trying to get to Europe in September as platinum no dice at all in J or F. on several requests.
it seems to be getting a lot harder to actually score a premium seat now.
also requested DFW or LAX Sydney in June again denied.

Nah this was originally requested before the war. It’s because so many people are requesting to go to Japan for cherry blossoms. I thought that given I’m coming home before most people are leaving I’d be in luck but it’s a blanket no from mid March to end of April.

I got my QF107 approved - granted it was I9 at the time I requested mid January

a couple of the flights I was looking at were I9, It was the manual review that was a No for every flight in that period. I’m sure the droid may still be saying yes to some dates.

Maybe try AKL-JFK only and tack something on if you're not getting any success.

I don't recall seeing anyone post about requesting QF4 seat releases of late.

A bunch of dates I was looking at to Europe in June are all only full J fares now, when they previously had I or D
