QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

I'm going to attempt the impossible tomorrow. Getting 2x J seats from anywhere in the USA (urgggh) to anywhere in Australia in March.

That’s actually relatively easy IME.
USA many more QF metal routes and far better than trying to get to Europe via Asia.

Also much less corporate and no school holidays. I’d no issues getting DFW-SYD, DFW-MEL and LAX-MEL released the other year.

Agreed with other posts especially on the two days a week QF94 is an A380, getting seats is far easier than Europe or Asia.

Huh colour me educated! In that case I might actually look at what the best options are rather than taking literally anything (will be traveling from Costa Rica).

Did not get to phone - despite being my day off work I went in for an early meeting, and nearly 14 hours later have just gotten home. Next holiday can't come quickly enough.

Secured a J Oz-HKG a few weeks out. Did require going to the bot but could see I and D so thought I had a reasonable chance

Called today - put in my details, got Manila and then transferred to someone else and then transferred again to some kind of escalated line where I had to select a number that corresponded to my status. Then got someone and had to 're-authenticate'.

Request was put in but apparently the droid has been 'out all day' so need to wait...

I think I have just had my greatest ever request haul. 3 (!) seats in J.
All flights requested had I availability, but unfortunately I didn't write down the loadings before requesting, however I have pasted what the current loadings as a reference point.

Ended up choosing the flight out of LA so we can go grab an In-N-Out while watching the planes land.
The call centre I got through to was Cape Town and was very competent at requesting and removing all the flights we didn't want. But we got caught in the dreaded ticketing queue so had to call up a few times to ensure an eticket number as assigned to all the pax. Took about two days to get everything over the line.

Called again today. This time straight through without a Grand Tour of Pointless Transfers or having to pick a number that allegedly matched my status like it was some kind of loyalty-themed escape room. However, apparently 'the droid is still broken'. Is it just me?

No droid must be on holidays - I called yesterday and are waiting outcome of request as well - was told to call back in 48hrs.

I was told to call back in 48hrs, 56hrs ago. Called back, computer still says #%**€#. Seems to be no way to manually approve these, which seems a flaw in system.

There is a way to manually approve them. But you must be P1 to access this.

They can’t even answer the phones to P1 in an adequate time. Never mind escalate a request to the route controller for a Plat.
