QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but I have requested some business class tickets to be released on Monday (when everyone was ringing the call centre to get some bookings in before the "enhancement"). From the Qantas manage booking page those tickets are still shown as Requested after 48 hours. Do we know normally how long does it take to get the result?

When I made the request, the agent over the phone did tell me I should get an email of the result from Qantas within a few mins to a couple of hours but I've got nothing yet.

I requested 2xJ MEL-NRT return for March-April (with the return just inside the school holiday window). No luck on the immediate/bot release, however the agent requested dates either side and alternate routings and sent off for manual review. Was told they'd look at it either Tuesday but more than likely Wednesday (yield management had a public holiday on Monday).

I got the email yesterday afternoon and called up today to have it ticketed. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a bit of a backlog - however if you haven't heard by tomorrow afternoon I'd put a call in. My booking still redeemed at the pre-enhancement rate, despite it being ticketed well after the changeover.

You should have it by now. If the flights still show as Requested you are out of luck. (They'll switch to Confirmed when successful)

If you call back to make further requests, ask them to reuse the same PNR ... this should ensure you pay the 'old' rates.
