QFF Lounge Passes - Electronic

I have 2 passes I can see on my account I can link to upcoming flights. these passes were from the Qantas Premier card. I want to cancel the card. If I do cancel it, will I lose those two passes if I havent yet linked them to some flights? or are they mine forever now?

Doubt it.

Once allocated I am pretty certain they will stay as QFF and the QF Premier Mastercard (or Platinum or whatever it's called now) are very separate entities... I doubt the cancel of the card will be reflected back to QF.

You transfer the passes electronically - the family members need to be members of QFF to have access to the passes.

You can do this electronically. Just need the persons QFF number.

No
Needs to be a QF owned and operated lounge (excluding LAX).

Lounge Locations | United Arab Emirates | Dubai International Airport | Associated Lounge | International Business Lounge

In the "Operated By" section. Each lounge QF lists has an operated by section that tells you.
DXB is an Emirates operated lounge not QF.


Qantas Club Lounges | Qantas
Its also listed in the "Associated Lounges" section. Anything in that area is not Operated by QF

Just be aware that after you transfer the electronic pass, you'll need the other person to log in and attach the pass to the actual booking. It's an annoying two step process which I learnt the hard way when I transferred the pass to my sister in law who arrived at the lounge and they couldn't find the pass. Thankfully they let her in anyway.

• Click "Frequent Flyer" tab near top
• Scroll way down to "Qantas Club & Lounges"
• Click "Find Out More"
• Click "Complimentary Invitations" on left side menu.

There may be a faster (non bookmarked) route, but they don't make it easy ...
