Not if we keep bumping the thread to the top of the table :D .

Of course we don't even think about doing such mean things 8)
And I would never do such a thing to someone was helpful and polite and Lindsay :D .

Of course not. That would just be rude.

and we would never be rude...

thank goodness these aren't rude times

I just love the lovely geometrical shapes that you erudite gentlemen are creating  , but when is enough, enough :?

Here I thought this thread would die a natural death, then it seemed a number of members didn't know of the differential in points so I thought this thread might now have some merit after all, then it goes OffT again..

Oh well, one can only hope...and pray

Well it was good info Lindsay, I certainly didn't know about it 'till you mentioned it.

But you keep bringing this thread back to the top!!!

BTW, they are nice patterns aren't they?

What a strange thread!!!!!

Greetings from the MEL T1 QP, btw. The chardonnay is excellent tonight.

Of course, once I thought about it for a minute, I just answered my own question...one way is S class, the other K class  . Now who's padding their post count  .

I think I'll just hide in the corner and hope nobody reads this thread  ...

I hate to be serious for a moment Lindsay, however how did you book these and come up with the different class of ticket :?:

thadocta, you know what these threads can get like, these days  ...

straitman, thanks for the question. It was done on the QF website, so simply selected Super Saver for the relevant flight on the BNE/MEL sector, then for the MEL/BNE sector chose FlexiSaver. The confirmation of my booking through Manage Your Booking (in your Account) shows the class of travel.

Look people, we've really got to stop perpetuating this thread.. was made in error and there is only one thing to say:

 X 100

Lindsay,

Thanks for what is probably the only really useful thing that's been said here in a few hundred posts.  8) :p

straitman, the good thing about the FlexiSaver column is that there are only 2 fare types (K or W). You can usually tell which ones have K availability as the prices available are cheaper.

Similar with Super Savers, but much harder as there are (I think) 6 different fare types.

Of course, if you have Expert Flyer or KVS Availabilty Tool, that's cheating with finding out what classes are available and working out the pricing quicker.

Oops.
Except of course your trip report forum which some ungrateful persons have vandalised :!:
