QFF Bonus Status Credits/Points gift on back of Aug 2023 profit

I'm happy to accept the 75SCs as I am less than a month into new FF year, having qualified WP last FF year (with no SC support for this FF year),so will help keep WP this year.

My email said 85,389 kms at least 8 QF award flights and I think 12 paid that I can recall off the top of my head.

Need to make sure my non frequent flying family members log on and take the points (they are all NB) and hopefully gift to me, since I bought their flights.

Haven't yet read all posts to see if the code has been cracked, but as WP with 57,694Km flown I got 75/5,000. Dunno how many flights but it must have been close to 20.
My wife who is Bronze got no km travelled in her email and 30/1,000.
Interesting, as we paid for a J flight LAX/SYD and a J Domestic in the time frame.
With WP requalled for this year and anniversary end of October, Alan could have held this off a bit longer and I would have grabbed the SC.

Their press release says 10 flights.
Eligible customers will receive an email inviting them to choose between 1,000 Frequent Flyer Points or 30 Status Credits. Those who flew 10 or more times will be gifted 5,000 Qantas Points or 75 Status Credits.

Anyone get an error message once you selected and claimed? Still think there are issues with the app, it should be available on desktop.

Yes. Attempted to grab a screen shot, but fat-fingered that. Now get a message saying that I'm ineligible for the offer.

Hard to say “no” to 30 SC’s when it’s 10% of what I need to get to LTG. Still not flying QF (notwithstanding VA’s poor on-time numbers for July as I wasn’t affected).
I have LTG baked in (graduand level of LTG?) thanks to a client booking and I have a 31 Aug membership date, so I'm thinking the points might be more useful as I won't be getting to plat next year as my work flying is just about finished.

Yes the SCs are more valuable if you want them and in the past I would have grabbed them. But I only qualified for this offer because of one reward booking - my only flight with Qantas in more than 12 months and I was very lucky to grab it. Will finally slide gracefully down to LTG after 13 years as platinum. No longer interested in chasing status and any loyalty I had to Qantas disappeared long ago.

“So long and thanks for all the fish”

Email was all about choosing to fly with QF, and flights I took with JL weren't counted.

Cheers skip
I thought I'd read upthread about others that had not flown QF but taken rewards flights with QF partner/OW, and still getting the offer. It could be that they made rewards for themselves from their own accounts, as opposed to having others do it on their behalf. Dunno.

I'm only LTS, but also LTQC back when that was something you could buy (and tax deduct and not FTB), so points for me. SCs are almost worthless for the same reason - I won't see WP or P1 again.

My wife and I both got the 5000/75 offer, and we took the status credits. We're both platinum, so this will make requalifying a little easier. Good timing for me as my year starts on August 1.

5,000pts/75SCs for me, and took the SCs purely for the LTG tally, which should be done in the next membership year, which starts in September

Remember, it's more than likely that you will forfeit ALL your SCs at the end of your membership year !

Might be good for getting to Launceston, if you still intend to do that :)
