Hardly a game of skill....But given the prize, not sure I would want to win anyway.

The survey topic about 'booklets of tickets' - well what can I say? One of the dumber ideas I would think.

Hmm depends - I actually gave feedback that would be good in certain scenarios if had a good enough discount eg MEL-LST where Qantas group has a very dominant position and charges accordingly... prices are quite high so I’d buy a bundle if it was a decent discount.

You weighed in on 17 activities

We’ve been busy gathering your insights this year and we hope to bring more of your thoughts to the table for the upcoming year. Be sure to keep an eye out for more surveys from us in 2018!

You gave 24432 responses

Thank you so much for the feedback you’ve provided through Qantas Advisory Panel this year! We’re always looking forward to your thoughts and learning how we can incorporate them into future endeavors.

LOL I got that too, I'd have been there a while if I gave 24432 responses.....

I wonder if anyone on this thread has won the prize :D

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I got exactly the same number as you - very odd

"You" (all advisory panellists collectively) weighed in on 17 activities and gave 24,432 responses.

Not all panellists would have responded on all activities, but dividing the number of responses by the number of activities gives 1,437 as a very approximate indication of the number of QAP members.

We hope you had a great weekend. Today we have 5 questions for you which should take no more than 2 minutes.

Your opinions and feedback mean a lot to us.

The questions were about Qantas and QantasLink and their magazines, and whether you are aware of the inaugural PER-LHR and would consider flying it and the reasons why or why not.

I said that 17 hours was way too long in economy.

Not too long in economy for me per se, but too long in the way they've configured the B787 cabin. I could manage in the A380 upper deck.

Also they're charging a premium for it when they should be offering a discount ;)

Your opinions and feedback mean a lot to us, therefore, we have an exciting new survey for you which asks about your flying behaviour and will only take five minutes to complete!

A mix of questions about how much you've flown in the last two years, which airlines you flew, what you require in terms of leisure travel, whether you're a sole or joint decision-maker, and which cities you would visit (if the price was right) in North America, South America and Asia.

The survey topic about 'booklets of tickets' - well what can I say?

That previous idea plus others were canvassed in a recent Qantas-sponsored survey via both Red Planet and e-Rewards. Give a 1-10 score indicating interest in such options as:-
  • 'Flight credits' (analogous to booklets of ticklets) between two specified cities or within a zone. May be shared within a specified group or household.
  • Linked household frequent flyer account - pool points, convert SCs into points.
  • Book hotel when booking flight to save 10-30% as a package. FF points earned on the package, and can be redeemed for the package.
  • Book complete holiday package with some date flexibility. FF points earned on the package, and can be redeemed for the package.
  • Purchase 'extra premium services' such as guaranteed empty seat next to you, J lounge access, and baggage collected from and/or delivered home.
  • More domestic and international reward availability if you're willing to pay more points for the seat.
  • Removal of carrier charges on classic flight rewards by paying more points.
  • Expanded benefits for P1/WP/SG on JQ, such as SC earning on all JQ flights, free standard seat selection and/or free checked baggage.
Very interesting survey. Qantas also wanted to know your QFF number to link to survey responses and to send more relevant offers (hmmm).

I'd pretty much given up on the QFF Advisory panel! Then I got an email asking me to update my details.

I was sitting here doing nothing but listening to some music and contemplating a bite to eat, so I thought, why not!

I'm just dusappointed they didn't ask where I currently was, to which I could have uploaded a pic!

I got the same email last week. When I tried to open it, it claimed that I had already completed the survey. I figured it was because I was overseas.
Just got home and tried again. Page won't load.
