Anyone know anything about the QFF Advisory Community?

Does anyone have any experience with it? Is it worth the hassle? Does it take much time to participate?

You need to make a mininum of 4 posts per month for 1000 QF points / month...It takes +1 (aka as me) 5 minutes to do so. I'll let you decide the rest :)

Frequent Flyer Advisory Community...

"As a community member, you'll spend 10 to 20 minutes of your time each week, sharing your opinions with key decision makers through surveys and an online forum - which will help shape the future of the program".

They've previously had my opinions for free, now they are at least thinking of offering peanuts.

I got an email about it a few days ago, but was ruled ineligible after answering 2 questions!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

So I’m guessing it’s by invitation only ?
I believe so. It said it was a group of 500 members and it is an invite to express interest for selection. I got to the end of survey without rejection and they said I might get an email in the next week.

Same
Havent received anything yet

I did get on the Qantas Customer Advisor Panel a few months back. Dont know if that is different. I dont think that gives me any points though.

It doesn't appear to be, I signed up using the link, did the profiling questions, then received an email to activate the account.
My main page now says "stay tuned for upcoming activities"
Same here:
Thank you very much for your time. You'll be receiving a confirmation email shortly where you will be asked to confirm your email with us. Please click on the link in the email to confirm your membership – after that, you will officially be a member of the Qantas Customer Panel and will be able to start providing your feedback through our engaging activities. Along the way, we’ll keep you posted on how your feedback is helping us improve the Qantas experience.

This confirmation email and all future communications will be sent to you via [email protected]. Please add this email address to your safe-list to ensure that you are able to receive communication from us.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard!

Congratulations, you are now a panelist.

There's almost nothing in there presently. My Activities has only the profiling questionnaire, and Quick Poll has "Stay tuned for upcoming quick polls!".

What we've learned
So many exciting improvements have already been implemented because of what you had to say, with many more on the way, so please make sure to watch this space.

You told us: There wasn’t enough room in our Perth Lounge
We acted by: Expanding the Qantas Club Lounge

You told us: You wanted to maximise your sleep on overnight flights when flying in Business
We acted by: Revamping our service in Business. Here’s just a few thing we now offer our customers flying in Business:
• Café breakfast on flights out of Asia
• Pre-ordering of your main meal before your fly
• A new mattress and duvet to provide you with an even better nights sleep
• Greater flexibility and variety with our in-flight meals. You now have the option to enjoy a snack or small meal instead of three courses.

You told us: You wanted individual entertainment on all flights
We acted by: Introducing our interactive Q Streaming iPads to every customer on most of our B767 aircraft.

First QAP survey:-

Do you have a long haul trip coming up or have you recently been to far away lands? In today's activity we would like to understand how you fly when it comes to long haul travel. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

Thank you and have a good week!
Qantas Advisory Panel

The survey answer options weren't well-configured but it was ok overall. They defined long haul as 8+ hours and 'ultra' long haul as 10+ hours with a stopover.

No points/incentive offered, so if you undertake the survey you are freely donating your time to Qantas :)

???
It's not a points per survey proposition.
The points are for being an active member and responding to the surveys sent...

???

I haven't seen anything on the website or in email that mentioned points at all. Is there something that explains that?

I've been a member of this since 2009 when I did my first F flight from the then newish SYD F lounge. One of the staff approached me with a questionnaire and asked if I'd like to give my opinion of the lounge; the form was also an invitation to join the advisory panel. I don't recall ever being given any points for completing the online surveys though.

Here's waht I see after logging on to the advosry panel account:

Seems a bit dated; I think the Cafe breakfasts in Business are gone ... but not sure ...

Ok I am a panellist now ?
Actually thought I would be ruled ineligeable as I am retired with , obviously, no work flights
