Does the revamped qf's 7 and 8 syd-dfw-bne have the 380 inflight entertainment with more movies, etc. than the old 747? Thanks.

I would suggest that the ER's going to DFW would be the selected B747 that have been mentioned here.

From memory ( I did this flight in June DFW-BNE) yes it is the upgraded system

and from my memory..I came back in April.... yes as well
I am fairly sure it was the same as the A380 that I took to LAX on the way

My one hint for this flight is that maybe the window seats are better in business because you get more storage

Yep, spot on and whatever you do don't pick 5J as it is a HORRIBLE seat , too lonely, too much room :mrgreen:

Thanks all re 'horrible' 5j, if there were more toilets I would have picked that. Have what is called a 'woolies' bladder'. So worked out odds are better upstairs with less folk but perhaps it is same ratio downstairs, hadn't thought of that until now.

I purposely picked domestic flts. in US this trip that have single seating in first as well as double.

I think I did both runs on the older config 747, so while it was newer system, wasn't as good as 380.. Slow, leggy etc
