Hi, we are traveling QF28 SCL-SYD early November, I believe it is an updated 747-400, I have selected seats 3 E & F which are in the nose area (the only middle seats in the nose), I have read here that these are "good seats" can anyone confirm this, we will have flown in from Bogota early in the morning and will be looking to get some shut eye, the upstairs area has not opened up for selection, am bronze QFF. Thanks in advance

If there is no row 4, then they are pretty good seats being Skybed Mk ii.

3E and F are great seats for a couple, in a very private cabin. Only downsides are no windows, and a fair walk back to the toilets.

Thanks for replies, I think we will stay with 3 E & F and see if anything opens up upstairs or with windows closer to departure

I'm a 3 E/F fan.....selected it for our LAX-JFK leg later this year.

Personally I'd go upstairs, we last had 2A and 2B, the wait for the downstairs business class bathrooms on that flight is ridiculous, I had to change in the galley as I couldn't get a bathroom for >30mins.

Here's the hot tip. The wait upstairs is equally as bad! People had to use the crew rest upstairs for getting changed coming back from NRT.
