I am still tentative, but the winds seem to have me in Melbourne on Thursday & Friday this week, so a slightly brighter colour of tentative.

Have just noticed this and am actually just around the corner from Blue Train this week.

Am fairly tied up with work sadly, but if late notice Thursday is ok, I may be able to turn up if this is ok?

Will not be able to advise until Thu arvo probably
 
Sorry to inform definitely not able to attend - only discovered last night we don't arrive back into MEL until 20:00 on Thur - my bad - refer Suites Savers thread.
 
Cessna 180, I think you'll fit in well with this group considering your status levels :D

Even if you can make it for dessert / late drinks, we'll be there until ~10pm. Look for the table of ~10 talking frequent flyer programs.

Blue Train just rang to confirm the booking. I heard the accent (no, not Irish :p) and declared "oh, you're our favourite waitress!". She laughed and promised to make sure we have our regular window table. And she will be there Thursday night.

Updated thread to here. Some of the maybe's will no doubt confirm on Thursday and I won't have a lot of access during the day to update the thread.

Haha. I was actually at Bluetrain Last night for dinner.

And to all the sweet-tooth's attending on Thursday night, you'll be pleased to know that childhood memories is still on the menu....... It was very , very decadent like usual btw.

And most Importantly I was thrilled to bits to be served by my favourite " Irish" waitress again!

She is a little gem!

My favourite Irish Waitress showed me her " IKEA " braces that she wears as part of servers apron.... Very sexy!

I informed my Irish Waitress of this group gathering on Thursday night & she was right onto the reservation.

My favourite Irish waitress passed comment to me " oh yes, I remember your frequent flyer group, you have that lady that comes along..... She talks a lot".

I naturally burst out laughing when that comment was made & we both had a chuckle.

Have fun on Thursday night guys & girls!

Last time I had dinner withCool Cat Phil ​I seem to remember falling asleep on the train on the way home. Would have been good to catch up for a beer :cool:

I may be a late starter tomorrow night but have a very early start Fri morning (5am) so would need to leave early. Will confirm in the arvo.
