With regards to the QANTAS mistake, I forgive you. But, the question I have is, will QANTAS forgive me next time I make a mistake when using their service or make a mistake when purchasing a ticket incorrectly? I hope so..

It seems like I commit a criminal offence if I leave them off these days.. To be honest, I am reluctant to use them. I always seem to use the wrong one, which often, just makes it worse...

I didn't receive an email. It appears to be random as I receive some but not others.

I got the Win-win sale email, and the correction. So maybe targeted at some of us in the lower echelons!

I thought your post was quite funny and truthful.

I, and I suspect most men, have 2 pairs of shoes. Dress shoes and sandshoes/runners.

Women on the other hand have a different pair of shoes for each day of the week, 2-3 different type of shoes for each day and different colour of each pair to match their underwear. I think that adds up to 47 pairs of shoes at each point in time. :shock:

Even fresh eyes can look straight over the top of an error if it's not glaringly obvious. For example, QF have sent out emails which state "Return From" so that in itself is not unusual, and a fresh pair of eyes might even have read over that and thought "wow that is cheap" without remembering that return prices are typically only given long haul. No excusing them, just saying I know how even with the best intentions mistakes can slip in.

I guess they have to advertise return prices as the one-ways are priced much higher than 50% on long haul.
