QF - upgrade via sms

Hi! I’m a bronze member and was lucky to get a double upgrade from MEL-SIN-LHR from economy to business. I was actually economy until 30 mins before SIN- LHR and on the app I went to premium and then at the gate it beeped and I was business! Woohoo!

I’m flying out tomorrow on QF2. When I saw the flight on Seat Guru- Business has 10 empty seats (8 blocked out). When I got uogradded initially for both flights particularly SIN-LHR they were over booked!!

I’m flying out in 22 hours. What’s my chances? What’s the latest you have received an upgrade sms?

An upgrade to premium economy seems likely on QF2 LHR-SIN 21/5, business is kind of full though.

I got premium economy upgrade via sms! Can I still be upgraded at the airport/gate if business has spaces?

The flight still shows F2, J1, so very unlikely, but you never know. Premium economy was more expected with T9.

When I got my upgrade on QF1 the SIN-LHR leg was full. I watched 30 mins before the flight on the Qantas app I was upgraded to p/economy. Then I went to the gate to board and was reissued with business class.
Do you know if I’ve been granted already an upgrade via sms that is my only chance to get business?
