I never knew El Al existed - or that it was a QF partner that I can book classic awards on - is this new?

Thanks for the link boomy, I saw this on the QF site last Thursday but didn't understand what it was all about.

Agreed. Don't think I'd waste my points on their current F/J seating, but the new 787 J looks the goods. Otherwise better off using your points on CX if you want to get to TLV from that region.

Looking at the AUSBT story they use Bangkok to Tel Aviv has an example. It doesn't appear that LV has a Lounge in Bangkok. So if you are either a QF SG /WP or flying J or F is there no lounge access at this end of the flight?

Last time I flew LY ex-BKK in 2007 they used a terrible contract lounge with very little food, no alcohol and long queues for showers. Wasn't the best experience to say the least...

On a more positive note, their flagship King David lounge is nice. I will aim to book their new J ex-TLV.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

The CIP lounge opposite G2 is ok. I prefer that to the CX lounge but my tastes are simple.
