Not staffed on weekends. I think hours of operation are 9:00am-6:00pm weekdays.
I disagree!

Had an opportunity recently with a U class JASA transpacific booking; availability on a preferable route appeared and I called on a Sunday morning with trepidation to try to change.

It was answered "Qantas Premium, W[SUB]****[/SUB] speaking ..." and I was able to change at no cost (in line with the fare rules) with a new e-ticket sent after a simple 2 minute conversation.

Perhaps you are right serfty. I have never had premium desk staff after hours or weekends.

Have others noticed an increase in the "hold" times for the Premium desk lately? I have always been able to get an operator answer almost immediately on calling, with at most a delay of 10-15 secs; but recently I have been put on hold for up to 2 mins.

The nice lady on the premium desk just fixed my ticket which was supposed to be issued yesterday but the normal desk buggered it up...

Edit: They didn't bugger it up, there was something that needed to be done manually in the system or something.

Also had to change a JASA travel date on Saturday. Was handled very expeditiously and politely by Premium desk. Fantastic service.
