Hi there

Long time reader, first time poster. Great forum!

Im looking at understanding how partner seats are made avaiable through qantas.com. Im want to do a oneworld classic award, mainly in June, but with the final leg to be determined. One of the sectors I am looking at for June was LHR-SCL. A couple of weeks ago on qantas.com, there were many many options available for this using BA and LAN via GRU, EZE and GIG, however a search yesterday only showed one AA option via DFW a few days away from my preferred date. Does this mean all of the BA options have been pulled? I dont think they could have all been booked in that short period of time. Are these seats (or new ones) likely to be made available again, or has the proverbial ship sailed on this one? I just find it hard to beleive that all seats have dissapeared in such a short period of time is all. NB I havent called the centre yet, that will be next step if I need to.

There is an award on 20/6 via MIA on BA/AA. Unusually there are no Y awards in July despite there being good availability in J. Forecasting future availability is fraught with difficulty but the best assumption is they're gone and won't be replaced.

It could just be an issue with Qantas' booking engine. I just checked BA's booking engine and there's award availability most days in June via various transit points.
