Hi, in mid Feb had Y+ awards for SYD-LHR (QF31).
Unfortunately the AVOD unit did not operate at all, for one of our seats.
Should we have enquired about a refund for this problem (BA recredit points or cash for similar incidents).
Did you send in feedback when you got back? I got a voucher when IFE wasn't working from LHR to BKK (was travelling in J)
did you raise this inop AVOD with the crew whilst onboard the flight? in the past the CSS (cabin supervisor for Y and Y+) or CSM (all cabins manager) had the ability to take details and offer various types of 'vouchers' to pax for them to use straight away or in the future...there are many different vouchers...and the most suitable one can be offered as some sort of 'compensation'...they can range from 'duty free vouchers' to 'free movie passes' with respect to inop AVOD...Hi, in mid Feb had Y+ awards for SYD-LHR (QF31).
