QF Gold = ?? Velocity status??

I read on a post here that if you are a Qantas Gold or Platinum you could apply (?) for Velocity Gold status?? Sorry, can someone explain if that is true and, if so, what I have to do?

I am flying V Australia in Dec and will have Qantas Gold status by then.....

There was a time when Velocity offered a status match but that was last year. Those who have tried more recently (since the status match period closed) have had no luck

Hi perthgirl, unfortunately last years status matches was part of a promotion that ended some time ago.
