But it's certainly not operated by QF. Hence why I said that the rules are a little inconsistent with practice, since there has been plenty of anecdotal evidence of pax getting in on the FJ metal flight with the QF flight code on their BP. ...
Thanks for the clarification - I was posted in relation to this:

... which implied to me those on the QF codeshare were getting into the lounge was the "lax" bit rather than those travelling on the FJ flight number ...

I know that I wasn't meant to have access, but in January I had no problems entering the First lounge as an AA Emerald, flying JQ to HNL. I was expecting to be turned away, and had planned to kill time at Wagamamas, so was very grateful.
