QF FF Points Posting Issue

This will likely be an isolated case, however I flew on the inaugural BNE-SYD portion of QF8 on Wednesday 18 May on a revenue ticket and have had a zero points and SC posting. There's a number of variables to consider:

  • I used a Qantas travel voucher (present) to subsidise the cost of the ticket, with the difference between the total airfare and the voucher being charged to a credit card
  • As many would be aware, Qantas at one stage offered an exception/offer where passengers could upgrade on a Red e Deal fare, which I made use of
Here's a screenshot from the FF account:

Now I am aware that to remedy this issue I will need to call the Frequent Flyer Service Centre (noting that I can't submit a missing points claim given the flight has already posted, even though it is a zero points and SC posting), however I am wondering if this regularly happens to other people and whether this is a glitch with the system.

Have other AFF members who made use of the limited points upgrade offer experienced the same issue of no points and SCs posting?

Cheers
