Checked my app and 'only' DSC for the return flight from Cairns. TSC just for the flight up :)

In case it's helpful for others, don't give up hope...

DSCs for some GV deferred bookings eventually came through automatically about 5 and a half weeks after the flights. I use deferred-booking GV's not expecting the DSCs these days, and am pleasantly surprised when they still arrive.

Last year I bought a fully flex domestic fare to Cairns during a DSC promotion period (early August IIRC). If I need to change the date of the flights, will this affect my eligibility? Wondering if anyone has encountered this dilemma before.

According to the T&C - yes it will. If your DSC don't come through, you have no right of recourse.

According to real world experience - you will likely receive DSC so long as your new travel dates are still within the validity period and your booking reference does not change.

Thanks mate.

Unfortunately have to change the dates pushing it back a month, will have to go back through the old emails to identify the specified period. Be nice if it all works out but not the end of the world if it doesn't - I'm just glad I booked it flexi!

I've got a booking that's basically a return flight but with multiple segments in each direction. Thinking of dropping off two flight to just stay at the transit location not not go to the final destination. Qantas talked about a reissue fee. Is that likely to void double status credits on the booking.
Specifically told same booking reference after the change.

If you booked the flight during the general DSC promotion in Aug 18 the flight period end date is 8 Aug 19. After that date only normal SCs will apply.

I sent an email to QFF querying a sector that didn't credit DSC (all the other sectors credited correctly) and received this reply:

In regards to your query, please be advise that to be eligibe [sic] for Double Status Credit Promotion, you must register and book between 18 Feb 2019 - 25 Feb 2019 AND TRAVEL between 25 Feb 2019- 31 Aug 2019.

However, upon checking on your flight, you booked this flight 18FEB19 which is not on the booking period of the promotion.

😂😂

So much face palm!

Other sectors in the booking have credited automatically so it's not a timezone / GMT issue. I'm just missing one of the sectors out of 4.

Having the same problem. 3 out of 4 sectors got the DSC, but not the 4th. Will have to chase it up once the time period expires.
