QF codeshare or just AA

But for learning purpose, what if the next flight (after the missing AA one) is a QF flight ?

Would QF not be aware of my connection in that case?

And if so, must I alert QF asap?
If that were the case, then yes, you would need to check it out.

Basically the ticketing aline should have all flights in the relevant PNR, however, the PNR for another carrier being used in the routing often has only the flights of that other carrier and connections.

e.g. You may have a booking MEL-(QF)-xSYD-(QF)-oLAX-(AA)-oORD-(AA)-xJFK-(QF)-SYD-(QF)-MEL.

All these segment would show on the Qantas PNR.

Hoever, on AA's SABRE version, only the following might show: LAX-(AA)-oORD-(AA)-xJFK-(QF)-SYD. The latter QF flight due to it being a connection with the prior AA flight. The QF flight to LAX does not show as it is a stopver.
