Hi,

I am travelling from Adelaide to LAX, 4 passengers in Business Class, using points. I notice we can all travel together from Brisbane on the QF175 service.

I was wondering what the chances are of getting a plane that has skybeds.

(Travelling early August 2007).

Thanks for any advice - i haven't been to Bne in many many years, and usually connect out of Sydney or Melbourne.

Thanks for any info!!

100% chance of Skybeds. All QF 747-400 aircraft now have Skybeds installed.

Getting 4 awards on that flight will be tough if not impossible
One would expect so - however, i got 4 on the 6th of August...

It just goes to show that if you can plan and book well ahead, almost anything is achievable!!

(On Wednesday i could also get 4 Business Class Adl-Bne, however when i went to book them on Friday Night, i could only get 2 Business from Adl-Bne.)

I note the taxes were $262pp. Is it cheaper if you book a return flight? In our case we couldnt because our return dates won't open up yet for another couple of weeks, but i was just curious.

Thanks

I would save the money and points on the Adel-bris and get some cheap red-deals.

Trying to access your favourite Australian websites when overseas only to discover they have been geo-blocked? Concerned about your internet privacy especially when using unsecured wifi? NordVPN will solve both these common problems.

Why??

Adelaide-Brisbane-LA is 96000 points.
Brisbane-LA is 96000 points.

I am already getting the Adelaide - Brisbane Leg for free. Why would i want to pay? i cant save any points either.

(the taxes would probably be slightly higher as a result of the adelaide-brisbane leg, but it has to be paid either way!)
