I'm trying to book an award flight from SIN to MEL on SEP 20 2010. But I get the message:

"Trip from Singapore to Melbourne is not available on the 20 Sep. Alternative dates can be selected below"

I also get the same message if I use Sydney as a destination.

Am I doing something wrong?

I think it's because the Qantas availability hasn't yet been loaded for the 20th - for example, there are seats right up until (and including) the 19th.

From memory, someone once said they get loaded at 10am (Sydney time), but I don't know exact times.

I get the same message for SIN-MEL although BA15 is available for SIN-SYD.

My guess is either no availability SIN-MEL on 20 Sep 2010 or award seats have not been released yet for that date. Keep trying and I think you will find SIN-MEL availability released in the next day or so.

QF10 on Sep 20th currently has 1 seat availability in all thre "premium" classes and 9+ in WHY...
