Hey guys,

Title pretty much explains it all - I've browsed trip reports but cannot find any mention of whats stocked in these new onboard Snack Bars ?

I presume the usual soft drinks & peanuts - what about alcholol ? Other food ?

Referring to the ones in Economy specifically ..

No alcohol ... Sodas, juice and water are all available.

The bar is stocked with small snacks such as biscuits/cookies, chocolates. Fruit as well.

ISTR it only started to run out of items near the end of the flight - perhaps the crew stopped replenishing it.

Cheers thanks for the info & link to trip report I missed that one on airliners dot net

Silly question - but kinda related. I'm flying to LA from SYD next month on QF (rebooked from V), is there snack bars in Y on the 744's?

Sort of, i assume the USA floghts are same as Europe/Asia on 744's in that usually right down the back gally there is boxes of stuff like chocolate bars etc.... I hope my mind is not playing tricks and thinking of BA but i am 90% sure its QF.

All that long haul in whY on BA/QF just blends in you know.. i prefer to forget the expereince mostly !

Yes, QF had extra snacks in the rear galley of the 747 on BNE-LAX. it's basically glasses of water, plus more of the stuff in the snack bag they hand out.
