Agree. The 717 J seat is a slightly newer design and I find very comfortable. Sure no video ife (I am not even sure they have streaming, they may have by now) but the flights are usually shorter anyway. I could be wrong but even the pitch seems a little more generous to me.
Also the service from the QFlink crews seems to be, in general, a little more... what's the word... exubulent? they're younger generally and have a bit less service items to work with but I think in general the attiudes have been great and less jaded than some more senior crew. Not a dig on QF mainline intended, but you know sometimes you do a fliht and it's like meh all around. I find, as a generalisation, the QFLink crews in J to really have a go and be sincere about it.
I'll be doing my longest sector soon MEL-BNE and looking forward to it, but staying in row 4 for this one as I would like to try it tbh
