Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Not sure if this is a glitch in the Qantas system (also seen in CX Asia Miles and BAEC award Platform) but it seems that you can book First Class award for QF127 in mid December (try any date from 10 - 18 Dec 2017). I am talking about 9 award seats for each flight ......

Is that meant to be? Are they bringing back F to this route?

EDIT: Also applied to QF128 on the dates above ......

Interesting that QF only wants to sell the most expensive Premium Y seats, but the other cabins have a selection.

Happy wandering

On a daytime flight PEY would be a good (ie cheap) alternative to business. Overnight flights - not so much...

Point of sale issue.

WRT is available exHKG on 10 Dec 17 (HKD 8345/6835/5025)
WR is available ex SYD as part of return 17 Dec 17 (HKD8295/6785)

Business sale fares are being offered in both directions. (~HKG10000 each way)

Happy wandering

Ummm ... Z on Qantas is PE reward.

P9 is a fascinating number!

Ah, sorry, I thought Z was the First Award. Obviously I have no idea about QF fare codes. It was wide open for First Awards, whatever that code is (?).

I wonder if this suggests a more permanent usage of the A380 on this sector (given suggestions re MEL-LHR services)

Would make sense and differentiate the product from CX.

This is some good news. I'd love to see QF reintroduce F on this route, even on a seasonal basis. One on of my favourites!

I didn't see it mentioned in other threads, but QF will be upgrading SYD-HKG (QF127/128) to an A380 for most of April 2017. I have 2 flights to HKG booked in PE during that month so a nice chance to sit in the F cabin for a 25K points upgrade from PE!

Unless you're P1, by the time the PE to J upgrade comes through, chances are, most of the F seats would've been taken. Having said that, you could be lucky. I was on one of those flights last year. Preselected 1A and QF changed a/c to A380 and retained my seat. Was surprised to find some empty seats in F despite the J upstairs being quite full.

Just received my upgrade from PE to J and was able to select 2F and this 15 seconds after receiving the SMS :p (the computer gave me 11J). When I looked at the seat map on EF this morning there was only 3 "F" seats left, so pretty lucky!
