I am trying to find Qatar Priviledge club award availability on QF domestic J for next year.
QF FF website shows abundant availability for the flights I am interested in June but when I phone Qatar they say they have none available.
It appears difficult/impossible to check availability on the Qatar website so I am asking if anyone has a suggestion for checking availability without ringing the Qatar service centre.

In my experience it is not at all uncommon for oneworld airlines to show different availability on exactly the same flight. I can understand an airline making more seats available to its own members (and this may be what's happening here) but not, for example, QF not being able to see availability on a CX flight that AA can see (which is what I've experienced).

You can use the AA website to search for award space on QF without having an account. Start there. If AA is offering the seats you want but QR isn't, I'd suggest it's a case of QF and QR not getting along. If AA doesn't have availability then I'd reckon QF is offering more seats to its own members and not making them available for partners.

Finally, as a long shot, try calling QR in one of their international call centres. Maybe if you dial the US number you may get a US agent.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Does anyone know a way to check Qatar upgrade availability without having to request it every day and get rejected? When I checked their website the flight shows flexi awards (Q2) but my upgrade request was denied for apparently no available upgrade seats tickets?
