How does Accor treat you as an Elite guest?

No, looks like Clover has just opened earlier this year in the space that OPL used to occupy.

Here's hoping comp breakfast is offered there
I’ve seen a few reviews and Clover actually sounds ok so looks like they now have the gig. I would imagine comp breakfasts are a thing.

I am told that Clover do the breakfasts. No in room service though and no Accor Plus benefits (discounts) if dining there of an evening.

Aside from that I have to say the room service today was very poor. Floor not vacuumed, bins not emptied, bed pulled up but pillows left as I left them this morning and a dirty glass still on the bench. I reported this to the duty manager who noted these things and asked me to report them again to the day reception staff.

Property: 25h Paris Nord
Status: Platinum
Room booked: Extra large
Rate: €300 incl. room tax
Room upgrade: nup
Free internet: yep
Free breakfast: n/a
Early check in / late out: Room not available till 15.30
Welcome drink: 2 voucher in app
Welcome gift: non, probablement
Recommend: uh, probably not
Come back at 15h they said, when we arrived at lunch. This was a step beneath the advertised 14h checkin if we had booked at 25hhotels.com. At 15h, housekeeping wasn't answering reception's call and they eventually said oui 1/2 hour later. Re Welcome gift, not even a note. We were told the minibar was free first night, but while we waited everyone else was told that too. We did get a personal accueil from the housekeeper when we arrived, so that was something.
The hotel is right opposite Gare Du Nord station, so it isn't the quietest place in town, but the windows are double glazed and it was early in the week, so we managed to sleep OK in between the sirens. An extra large room got you a king bed, a nespresso machine and a couch; an extra large plus room would have got you the same on the top floor, which would increase the distance from the sirens.
The one upside apart from the housekeeper welcome was that the welcome drink was a generous glass of Taittinger, which could be worse, and the food at Neni restaurant was nice.
Would I stay again? Non, merci. This was an anomaly, other 25h hotels we've stayed at have given us the usual bonuses, with their staff dosed up on happy pills. Here they were off their medication.

I've got 3 nights in Singapore in a few months, sans mr k_sheep so I'm doing a mattress run! Have already picked out Pullman Singapore Hill St and Sofitel city centre ... tossing up the 3rd. Is actually for the first night so will be coming from the airport.

Can do:
Pullman hill street again at $271
Swissotel at $364
Fairmont $404
Mercure ICON $220
Mondrian $273
Mama Shelter $193
Pullman orchard $283
Mercure on Stevens $214
Grand Mercure Roxy $286

Any sage advice? I'm thinking executive lounge properties are preferable because I'll be sleepy from an (URGH) overnight economy flight on the way in.

On nights or status points?

IMO the Swissotel EL is pretty hard to beat, unless you're considering booking a Fairmont Gold room.
Honestly just because I'm a new platinum and am playing with my new toys :D Why not go somewhere with 2 free drinks and a welcome amenity every day ...

Plus since I'm solo I don't have to worry about annoying anyone else with my constant moving (I'm HLO and spending my days at a conference).

Plus an easy two stop MRT ride to the Sofitel without the need to ever go outside, if that's of any value to you.

Fair enough. I really like the Swissotel then. My 2nd pick would be the Mondrian - it's very new, is in quite an interesting area, and has a great rooftop pool. The only downside is no EL and the newer build means slightly small rooms - although the furnishings are high quality. I stayed during the Mondrian's soft launch so I can't comment on how good the status recognition is now.

I wouldn't bother staying at the Fairmont unless you'll fork out for Gold room which brings EL access. I'd also advise you specifically NOT to stay at the Mercure ICON... just google the reviews :)

Mondrian as seen from the Sofitel. Pretty walkable
