I'm there now. Actually, this is my last lounge in this entire airport to see.

It's pretty small, food is only slightly better than the biz ow lounge.

Nothing to write home about that for sure. Adequate doesn't even come close as some user put it before. I'd use the word...lame...compared to offers by cx, qf, ba and even aas new flagship lounges. Way to treat OW to tier fliers QR.

reasonably empty lounge when i wrote and took the pics...now, 2340... looks like one or two seats free, food and booze rammed, smoking area puffing out like a mof_.

I’ve heard it’s just not good at all when compared with the real first lounge that Doha reserves for F pax.

Totally agree with you both.
I've been in better qantas club lounges in my life.
Unfortunately, today is an economy only codeshare CX on QR to HKG then onto SYD in a higher class!

We were in the Qatar Airways J lounge yesterday and found the scale and design over the top. However the food standard available at 0630 was ordinary. The upstairs dining space was very busy with pax waiting for tables to be cleared. They were promptly attended to however.
